Jeff Lawson , , , Founder, CEO, & Chairman

Jeff is a serial inventor with over 15 years of entrepreneurial and product experience. Prior to co-founding Twilio, Jeff was Founder & CTO of NineStar, Founding CTO of Stubhub.com and Founder, CEO & CTO of Versity. He was also one of the original product managers for Amazon Web Services. At every business, Jeff identified the fundamental need for a platform for developers and companies to easily build communications-based business solutions. Jeff grew up in the suburbs of Detroit, started his first company in middle school, and earned his BS in Computer Science & Film/Video from University of Michigan.

Rick Dalzell , , , Former SVP & CIO, Amazon

Mr. Richard Dalzell was Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Amazon.com, Inc. until his retirement in 2007. Previously, Mr. Dalzell served in numerous other positions at Amazon.com, Inc., including Senior Vice President of Worldwide Architecture and Platform Software and Chief Information Officer from 2001 to 2007, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer from 2000 to 2001 and Vice President and Chief Information Officer from 1997 to 2000. Prior to his employment with Amazon.com, Inc., Mr. Dalzell was Vice President of the Information Systems Division at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. from 1994 to 1997.

Mr. Dalzell brings to the Board extensive experience, expertise and background in internet information technology gained from his service as the Chief Information Officer of Amazon.com, Inc. He also brings corporate leadership experience gained from his service in various senior executive roles at Amazon.com, Inc.

Byron Deeter , , , Partner, Bessemer Venture Partners

Byron Deeter, a partner at Bessemer Venture Partners, leads their global cloud practice and has been involved in cloud computing since 1999. In addition to BVP's Twilio investment, he has lead Bessmer's investment in Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD), Criteo (CRTO), Eloqua (ELOQ), Adap.tv (Acq: AOL), Playdom (Acq: Disney), Box, Clearslide, DocuSign, and SendGrid. Prior to joining Bessemer, Byron was a successful entrepreneur, investor, and most recently worked as an executive at IBM after the acquisition of Trigo, where he served as president & CEO.

Elena Donio , , , President, Concur

Elena brings over 20 years of experience in fast-paced technology companies. Since joining Concur in 1998 through the acquisition of 7Software, a Palo Alto start-up, Ms. Donio has played an instrumental role in evolving Concur's business from licensed, enterprise software to cloud-based services. She became president of Concur in December 2014 after serving in a variety of leadership roles at the company, including head of worldwide sales and marketing, head of product management and executive vice president and general manager, worldwide small & mid-size businesses. Embracing and leading through change, she has successfully built an environment of high performance and limited turnover, encouraging participation in the communities she lives and works in, and acting as an advisor in women's leadership along with diversity and inclusion initiatives. Prior to joining Concur, Elena was a Senior Manager at Deloitte and a Senior Consultant at Andersen Consulting.

Outside of Concur, Ms. Donio is a member of the Board of Directors at PayScale and participates in the Champions Council of the King County Boys & Girls Clubs. She serves as an MBA mentor with the University of Washington's Foster School of business and sponsors the Ada Developers Academy, an intensive software developer training school for women. Elena earned her BA in Economics from the University of California, San Diego.

Jim Mcgeever , , , President & COO, Netsuite

Jim McGeever is responsible for many of NetSuite's internal operations including sales, services, support and administration, and spearheads NetSuite's industry and customer satisfaction programs. He joined NetSuite in 2000 and, as chief financial officer, rapidly built a global financial organization across seven countries and was a driving force behind NetSuite's successful IPO in 2007. Previously, McGeever was director of finance for Clontech Laboratories, the corporate controller at Photon Dynamics, and a chartered accountant at Ernst & Young. He holds a B.Sc. from the London School of Economics and in 2007 was named the Bay Area CFO of the Year.

Scott Raney , , , Partner, Redpoint Venture Partners

Scott Raney is a Partner with Redpoint Ventures focusing on information and consumer technology with a particular emphasis on cloud computing, on-demand software, enterprise infrastructure and mobile apps and platforms. Scott serves on the board of directors or has been involved with Redpoint's investments in adap.tv, Cloud.com (acquired by Citrix), Cyanogen, Expensify, Heroku (acquired by Salesforce), Jumptap, Path, RelateIQ, Stripe and Twilio.

Prior to joining Redpoint, Scott served as Senior Manager of New Products with NorthPoint Communications, a data CLEC providing nationwide DSL services. Scott managed NorthPoint's first consumer product and led product development of other new products. Prior to NorthPoint, Scott worked as a management consultant at Bain & Company, where he helped clients in the private equity and telecommunications industries. Previously, Scott was the Director of Engineering for VideoPort Technologies, a developer of videoconferencing hardware. Scott began his career at Andersen Consulting as a member of the Advanced Technology Group where he assisted clients in the telecommunications industry.

Scott holds a B.S.E.E., with high distinction, from Duke University and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.

Erika Rottenberg , , , Former General Counsel, Linkedin

Erika brings extensive experience as a global operational technology executive and General Counsel at leading, fast-growing, disruptive technology companies with global scale. She also brings over 15 years of experience in the boardroom, and expertise in privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property, policy, M&A and corporate governance.

In addition to serving on the Twilio Board, Erika has served since October 2014 on the Board of Nasdaq-listed Wix.com, a cloud-based web development platform. From 2008 to 2014, Erika served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at LinkedIn, the largest professional network company on the internet. Prior to LinkedIn, Erika was Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at SumTotal Systems, a talent management enterprise software company, and she held several roles at Creative Labs, including Vice President, Strategic Development and General Counsel. Erika began her legal career at Cooley LLP, where she practiced corporate and employment law. Erika also serves on the boards of directors of the Girl Scouts of Northern California, the Silicon Valley Law Foundation, and the Center for Democracy and Technology.

Erika holds a B.S. in Special and Elementary Education from the State University of New York at Geneseo and a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law.
